50 years

Yuri Gagarin, 1961, commenting on his view of Earth from orbit. The first time any human being had ever seen the Earth from orbit. Exactly 50 years ago today.

    Is it poignant that all I’ve been listening to today is Space Oddity? Seems more foreboding than anything…
