I’m at a conference! Sort of.
Actually, it’s the annual meeting of the RSC’s Spectroscopy and dynamics group (another group I should’ve mentioned previously). Not just that, but rather than going to the meeting, the meeting came to me! How could I not go along?

After spending so much time surrounded by astronomers lately, it’s interesting to be surrounded by chemists again. Especially interesting, as everyone’s so focussed on experimental data that I feel a little strange being so concentrated on theoretical work.

    Oh, it was very interesting! Unfortunately for me, it was mostly focussed on the experimental side of things, with less regarding theory work.
    No abstracts as far as I can see, I’m afraid — though the programme’s online here

  2. Sounds very interesting! Do they have the abstracts of the papers given up on the website? I don’t much have the time to look now, but it would cool for future reference…
