I’ve heard about this place before, but somehow I’d never taken a look. SciVee has been around for a little over a year, touted as a ‘YouTube for scientists’, it’s a pretty cool place. Members can upload videos, ‘pubcasts’ (a video together with a publication) or ‘postercasts’ (a video with a poster).

Beyond that, it’s a lot like YouTube, with communities, favourites, sharing, embeddable videos. One big difference though — you can take notes on videos you see, choosing whether or not to make them public.

So I made an account. Because… well… why not?
Perhaps at some point, I might make a couple of videos to put up…
