The Red Rectangle

The Red Rectangle is a protoplanetary nebula around 2300 light years away. I’ve been familiarising myself with it, because it has some very interesting chemistry, and I can get hold of some very good quality data. Perhaps my research project may be about this strange little object…

    You see where I’m coming from right.. I couldn’t find the exact slice, but that one shows it partially. However if one looks at the lateral ventricles with the corpus callosum and longitudinal (occiptal-frontal) commisure running then it does look exactly like the red rectangle. The curiosity being your stellar formation is clearly formed by waves… Any links maybe with the anatomical alignment of structures within the developing brain… Probably not, but possible. We are all EM processors afterall, how else do you get the troops where you want them =P
