Science140 is a twitter-based project aiming to collate scientific facts and definitions, each in 140 characters or less. If you ask me, this is one of the coolest uses of twitter I’ve seen to date! All science tweets are going eventually, to be collated together into a book and any profits are for charity, going to support the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland. For anyone who wants to kill some time with some interesting scientific goodness, should go and have a glance over the #science140 and @science140 on twitter and be inspired. Or amused. Or ideally both.
